Herbert Tamura and his son Glenn, decided to venture out from the original family company (Tamura Super Market) and start their own establishment. In 1995, Tamura Enterprises, Inc. was formed, operating a liquor division and grocery store. Today, Tamura Enterprises, Inc. has grown to include multiple fine wine and liquor stores on Oahu and Maui along with Tamura’s Market which maintains a commitment to low prices and high quality produce.
